Monday Update #3: We're Back


We're back!

Splonking is back! After putting development on hold for nearly a year as life got in the way, I'm back to working on Splonking. 

Many things have been updated: collision system has been retooled, brand new music, brand new enemies from the alpha version including killer bees, homing missiles, plenty of game-balance updates, the game has been sped up but the difficulty toned down, brand new music, analog control support --. all sorts of nifty stuff! Even a pause function!

Except for the settings menu. The settings option still just starts the game. I'll get there, I promise!

I've learned a lot about coding in the past year and looking back at my old codebase was a humbling experience, but it's cleaning up nicely. I'm nearly ready to debut a public alpha/beta version of the game for people to play/test out. Hopefully it'll just be a matter of weeks.
