Splonking: A retro-inspired physics based cave dive on the multicolored moon!

Splonking is a survival game inspired by early arcade and console games. A mysterious hole has opened up on the moon, and your goal is to explore as deep as possible within. 

The passage gets more treacherous the farther in you get. Who knows what you'll find on the other side?

The moon has moon rocks (what are they bouncing off of?), platforms, killer bees... and deeper still, homing missiles, laser defenses, and the evil Ghostals that fly around shooting everywhere. What are they trying to hide?

To Play: Download the zip file and unzip it somewheres. Check out the splonking readme included with the file, or run splonking.exe to play!

CONTROLS: 

Left and Right arrow, Left Ctrl Pad, or Left Stick - rotate your ship

Up arrow/A button - Fire Thrusters

NOTE: The alpha version of the game was made in 72 hours for Ludum Dare. The current version was put on hold for a few months but is back in active development.

Game written in C++ using the SDL(Simple Directmedia Layer) libraries.
